In the Victorian-Steampunk Era, Oliver Weller Kemp practically lived in his workshop. His parents both famous welders and machine craftsman had taught 18 year old Oliver everything he knows. One day, all the craftsman and welders go missing, leaving their machine operated world in the wrong hands. Oliver's world starts to go to chaos around him, with machines going rogue, putting everyone in danger.
Only Oliver and his best friend can save them, get his parents back and put his town right again. with the help of a mysterious donor, he gets parts for a machine that could save their world, now to figure out what it's meant to be.

Perhaps Elizabeth Greenwood wasn't a lucky girl, with a dead mother at seventeen, an amputated arm, and no money to deal with it, but when she stumbles into the grip of the Princess of what is supposed to be a deserted kingdom while trying to pay her debts, all she knows about herself, her mother, and her life is ripped to shreds. However, that doesn't mean the world she enters into is one without falsities either, or that she will remain unlucky forever.
