I wrote "Ma Belle Rose" over the course of a year and a half, and I've worked very hard on it. I would like to note that this book is a reboot of the original, and I only re-edited some of the first few chapters. So like half of the story is kinda shitty grammar-wise lol. I will not be updating or finishing the story because I stopped writing this a few years ago, so my interest in it has faded away. Each night you missed her more than the last, but that wasn't the only reason you cradled yourself to sleep every night. The days got tormenting in the worst ways possible. Your maniac step father never liked you, and the only reason he tolerated your being was because he loved your mom. You were in the way of keeping her to himself. Now that she was gone, he put the weight on your shoulders, punishing you in horrid ways. But it wasn't long before you heard about the revolution. It was the only way to escape the mess that you considered your own life. And with the support of your brother, you were off.

L Lawliet, worlds greatest detective and possibly the smartest person alive... can't talk. Well, he can, but only to those he's deeply connected with. Partially mute, he hides behind his screen and solves crimes anonymously. Speaking to taskforces with text to speech, and no face shown. Until he's pushed into a corner with a particularly tricky case, and ends up having to make his first face to face interaction. (y/n) shows up to the hotel room of the worlds greatest detective, thinking they'd see a well polished, wise old man. Instead they're met with a tired, young and rather huggable looking guy with eyebags holding a torn notebook page saying "I am L, and I can't talk" -- GNC READER. Basically all language for the reader is gender neutral, anyone can read! Non binary mfs rejoice. When the eventual lemon hits it'll be kinda alluded to an AFAB body (bc marketing to my main audience yo), but all pronouns are they/them and there's no descriptions of tiddies or anything. One day two people that Y/N has never seen before entered the Circus. Later Y/N learns that their names are Smile (Ciel) and Black (Sebastian). After a few day's you started to see that everyone is acting weird, After a few mins of eating Joker pulled Y/N out of the cage cause he was going to start training Y/n for an act to finally show her to the worker's there and to the visitor's of the Circus. During training Y/n saw Black watching before Y/n saw him disappear. Y/n wondered what was happening since Y/N wasn't used to being around other people and she wasn't used to training.
