Clarissa's family is a mess. Half of her life is gone, she doesn't remember anything that happened during a period of almost ten years. The last thing she can remember before everything "turned black" and she found her new home is the sight of her parents' dead bodies together with a vampires. Clarissa's mum and dad were both vampire hunters, but were killed by a creepy, stalking vampire, and that's the weird thing for Clarissa. She knows that vampires usually don't do something like that. They don't stalk people in that specific way. So, she follow her parents' footstep and tries to figure out what they where up to, and what it really was that killed them and left Clarissa alone with a gap in her memories.

Her new home is also kind of a weird mess. They are a bunch of kids who try to fight the evil and every single one of them have lost someone in their family. But, this kids are insane and probably suicidal for people who don't understand that this kids only want answers, or revenge. Clarissa is still unsure about which part she wants most, but is determined to get both of the things, even if she needs to use her killer skills that she has no idea about how she got, or how she can use the magic that her mum sometimes in her childhood showed her.All Rights Reserved

While reading this book you will learn, that witches were chosen to protect because even though vampires have the power to kill, witches are stronger.
