I tried so desperately to tell them that he was there too. But I couldn't. I found myself trapped in my own sorrow, spectating over what seemed to be my funeral. I wanted to scream at them until my throat deemed not to do so.
"Run!" I'd yell. But I couldn't.
Amongst the crowd, I saw a man crying; his face buried in his hands, his shoulders visibly shaking. But under all of this, I could see a smirk gracing his features.

As I really liked Tokyo ghoul... But it didn't come after Tokyo ghoul re season 2.... So I thought maybe I should write a story for the next level... The two just looked at the horizon with no one interrupting the silence. And I got used to this silence. And I began liking the serenity that she provided. But I'm still afraid that when I stripped off her cover, I'd unravel something I'm not prepared to see. I wonder that beneath her covering would be a mirror that would show how much of a monster I have become. "Yoriko told me that you've been down lately", Rikina opened. "We were desperately asking him to stay but he decided to disappear after all", Touka suddenly said what was in her chest all this time. "I knew it. You were having a lover's quarrel. I believe his name was Kaneki-san?", the white-haired lady recalled. For someone like Touka who knows there are things they might not keep for a long time, she should long be used to losing those she held dearly.
