Jerome/Reader. A girl's dark past is uncovered when she is admitted to Arkham Asylum. This takes place some time after Oswald's visit to the asylum. Jerome sees this as an opportunity to cure her through his questionable and immoral methods. 'The best cure is the laughing cure' and we all know Jerome hates boring people. This story will get darker over time and will contain many chapters a he delves further into her past and frees her as he sees himself in her. This story also gets smutty at times; you've been warned. It certainly is not a love story that is two sided and occasionally I will change the chapter point of view from the girl's to Jerome to demonstrate this. Violent and mature content.

He comes to terms with the arrangement quicker than expected. It's not awful, and Jerome's influence in the asylum helps make his stay more tolerable than it was the first time. It's not a huge price to pay. He's working hard to move past Edward and he's pretty proud of himself for it. But his eyes catch the shine of those idiotic glasses that frame his nose so well, and Oswald almost falls out of Jerome's lap when he realizes that Edward has been arrested and is here at Arkham with him... again.
