There are days where people wonder how the fuck they handle one thing or another when they are just simple problems like being clumsy or not being able to speak correctly simply because its one of those days. Then there are days where people believe they can take on the world simply because someone put a smile on their face. But what about that point in time where you feel like the whole world is crashing because you chose to get rid of that one person who put a smile on your face?

Book One. It's a strange, even mad world indeed. The story revolves around a group of people from all over the world: Madleine and Marik Winterfeldt, siblings by choice and Gene, a young noble living in the old Holy Empire of German Nation, a nation riddled with magical infested rifts as literal scars of war, and in continuesly danger of being at war again with it's powerful neigbour, The Holy French Empire of the Sun. On the other side of the planet, in the United Kingdom of America, magic abled people have more possibility to work with their "blessing", if it is viewed more useful. This means to fight against giant beasts from faultlines, that have strange connections to rifts. There is a band of people quite successful with it and one in particular is celebrated like a popstar: Hades, (self-declared) God of the Underworld, trying to survive a world where the only worth a person like him is how much money he generates for the large companies called "guilds". It's a world ruled by chaos. A mad world indeed.
