Valyssa Lance has been alone and depressed for years after the tragic death of her sister, who got reaped and killed in the hunger games a year after Via receives the dream catcher necklace. She keeps it as a memorial for her sister, until a career steals it and smashes it. Via's mentor is her sisters killer, who she later falls for. Maybe it was only a dream... At least that's what she hoped it was.
