Here in the moonlight is a short poem about the serenity of nature and the power of now. It's about how human beings have a constant desire to be serene forever and the realization that it's only possible once you cross out "forever" and add in "now".

Don't Blink
When someone comes up to you and warns about, "Life is too short", well that's exactly what they mean. In a blink of an eye everything you know, everyone you love, reality of the world changes; leaving no space or time to fix it. Realization hits us all during our most precious breaking moments. The strong willed always lasts a little longer than the rest of us. Showing us what true strength and power really can achieve. "Forever," he said, "For Always. That's how long we will be best friends." "Not forever," I whisper to myself, a tear falling down my face, "Not for always.
