Hello! I'm EKwrites and welcome to my short story collection!
This will be updated at least 2-3 times per month. It depends a lot on how much university related things I have going on for me every month. It also depends on how much I'm working on my bigger writing projects.
The fist story here, The Ancient one, is horror/thriller.
The second one, Slipping Away, is something that I can't really place into any specific genre.
However, the third one, which I named Gone happens to be angst.
As you can see, I dabble in multiple genres. I like to experiment with writing. I'm sure there will be a story that's to your liking. If there isn't... Well who says the upcoming short stories wont be to your liking?

Some things you just can't avoid, like falling in love. As much as you try to avoid, or search for it, it always seems to find you, or elude you. It seemed to find me every corner I turned, and I always tried to avoid it but alas, for some unknown reason, it found me. I retell my story in this writing, my story of love, deceit, power, and loss. Would you join me if I told you I could give you anything? Even love? Barry's life
Two people fall in love in unlikely circumstances. They have a lot of psychological issues and mistrusts in the order of things to prevent them from finding themselves and each other. I am a reader of crime novels and hard science fiction almost exclusively, and yet this story, which I have been writing for a long time, is a love story, I can't explain it even to myself. The characters will have to work through hardship and evolve to be able to surrender to the magical things around them and the flow of the universe and the love of other people. This story still is a work in progress, it has holes and it is to be continued
