When power-hungry Mokushujin soldiers sweep over the once-peaceful country Kohga, hardly any citizens are left alive.
Homura, a refugee, has lost everything: her family, her friends, her village, and consequently, the will to live. However, upon being found by the sincere escapee Shura, her mindset flips; she won't let herself die before Kohga has been avenged. And at that time, Mokushu will burn.
