Hank didn't see any sense in keeping on living, not one single bit. Connor didn't like the idea of Hank being gone.
For obvious reasons I wasn't happy with the sad ending with Connor and Hank and decided to fix it. You can see this story as something romantic or you can only see it as a story between a lost man and his son.

*Follows the storyline of Detroit: Become Human* You've been working at Detroit City Police Department for a few years, being in the police force had been you're dream job since you were a child. Currently, you investigated human crimes. Recently, you've been given the task of investigating cases involving deviant androids. The sudden change from investigating humans to androids is going to be tough to get used to, but you knew you could handle it. They also decided to partner you up with Hank Anderson, which surprised you considering he hated androids. You had nothing against androids, unlike you're partner, Hank. You had no reason to hate them, they had never done anything to wrong you. Most of them are actually quite nice, not counting the deviants. Hank had always been like a father to you, and like any other human he would easily get upset and angered, sometimes even lashing out on you. You knew that he never meant any of the harsh words, so you stuck by his side. When you were both assigned to the same investigation, you had both decided to go to the bar to celebrate. I took the liberty of choosing for Connor, but as I reached chapter sixteen, I came up with the idea that consistent, dedicated readers should be able to chose occasionally for Connor, directing which path the story will be told in. Now, here's what could be hard for you all: I said consistent.
