Hank didn't see any sense in keeping on living, not one single bit. Connor didn't like the idea of Hank being gone. For obvious reasons I wasn't happy with the sad ending with Connor and Hank and decided to fix it. You can see this story as something romantic or you can only see it as a story between a lost man and his son. Feel free to tell me how you liked it.

It was Tate and his father against the world after the loss of his mother, but Tate wasn't too pleased with living with him after two months. With alcohol in his veins and lust in his eyes, he gave up hope on everything and everyone. When Tate visited his mother's grave one day, he met a boy around his age, telling the history of the trees in the cemetery. Tate thought the boy, Oakley, was simply eccentric, but something was different, maybe even magical, about him. All Tate ever wanted was to be alone. All Oakley ever wanted was to be alive. *Title used to be The Tree Boy* summary edited by: @-avalynn-
