In Hajinn, singing isn't just forbidden: it's well known that it drives people mad. When Rajheem, a boy who loves music above all else, is plucked from his lowly existence to become the personal minstrel to Raja Helen, Third Seat of Hajinn, he is overwhelmingly grateful. As a foreigner, she holds none of the Hajinni superstitions toward music.

What Rajheem initially considers a stroke of luck begins to seem like part of a frightening plan. There are Fair Folk in Helen's palace, creatures who walk the line between the world of the living and the world of the dead. They steal children away from their homes in the night, never to be seen again. As the people of Hajinn grow increasingly uneasy with their ruler’s inability to rid them of this infestation, a rumor begins that the Fair Folk were sent from the country to the east.

At the same time, Rajheem realizes his singing talents go far beyond the power to create music. He can freeze people in their tracks, invoke fear in the hearts of his enemies, and even bend the fabric of reality itself. This gift embroils Rajheem in Helen's plot to usurp rule of Hajinn. As Rajheem struggles to control his newfound abilities and discover the reason his people abhor music, Helen orchestrates her plans to veer Hajinn toward war with a country it has been at peace with for hundreds of years.

Advika, 25, recently retired from her perilous career as a spy for the Indian government. She's faced trauma that most couldn't bear in a lifetime. Now, all she craves is the one thing her life lacked-normalcy. A quiet, boring life free from the shadows of her past. But she'd never admit it, even to herself. To desire simplicity feels like weakness. Yet, deep down, that's all she wants-something real, something safe. Karna, born a suta but kshatriya by heart, is a man who defied everything society forced upon him. Humiliated, cursed, and denied his rightful place, all he ever longed for was to learn weaponry-archery, his true calling. Though denied by every royal and guru, he carved his own path, mastering the art despite them all. Now, he seeks the respect and glory he's been denied, determined to claim his place in Hastinapur, the very kingdom that rejected him. He's no longer just a man-he's an enigma, a force of sheer will. But what happens when Karna, through mysterious forces, arrives in Advika's house? In a clash of instinct and fear, she attacks first, questions later. Their worlds, separated by centuries and desires, suddenly collide. One seeking peace, the other seeking glory. Both wanting the impossible. Advika wanted a simple life after the storms of her past. But maybe it was too much to ask. Karna wanted respect and honor in the land that spurned him. But maybe that, too, was too much to ask. Though their lives are worlds apart, something powerful connects them, pulling them into a moment neither can explain. Two souls, bound by destiny, stand before each other in an era foreign to them both. And as they each seek what they desire most, one truth becomes clear-when the universe conspires to grant your deepest wishes, there's always a price. The question is: at what cost?

"Iron Hand" begins in the throes of what most stories would consider the final battle. Buren, leading the "Seekers of the Artifact," utilizes the power of the Gauntlet, an ancient artifact for which he sacrificed his own arm and triumphs over the dark lord, ending the undead scourge plaguing the lands. Without a foe to unify them, the alliance of various racial, religious, and political factions begins to unravel. Reluctant negotiations result in an uneasy peace that leaves many dissatisfied, especially Buren. Now feared and distrusted for the power of the Gauntlet, Buren finds no respite. Dark visions he believes to be warnings from the Gauntlet haunt his dreams. However, his fears are dismissed as the delusions of a war-weary mind. Determined to confront this new threat, Buren follows his visions to an ancient mountain, located within the sacred grounds of the Dryads. The distrustful Dryads deny him access. Out of options, Buren infiltrates the Faith, a fanatical human supremacist religious order, becoming their enforcer, their "Iron Hand." As Buren travels, we delve into the backstories of the "Seekers of the Artifact," witnessing his navigation through a treacherous web of intrigue where trust is a luxury he cannot afford. The realm suffers under a despotic king, with whom Buren must ally on the surface, while secretly plotting his downfall. The situation is further complicated by his arranged marriage to a woman harboring her own dark secrets. Literary heroes sacrifice everything for others, but what happens when saving the world requires sacrifices from everyone? When do the ends cease to justify the means?. What if saving the world involves sacrificing innocents, betraying loved ones, and allying with despised enemies? "Iron Hand" is a story of a man who gave everything to save the world once and is now prepared to do so again, even if it means crossing lines he never thought he would. But will he still be hailed as a hero?
