Ellington Percival Price is a minor scientific celebrity, but a major megalomaniac, convinced he deserves more fame and glory than have so far come his way.  When he opens his morning paper and sees his name mentioned in connection with a murder, he decides it's the chance he's been waiting for.  He'll make himself a suspect and milk the attention for all it's worth, whether that turns out to be his own prime time series or three hots and a cot on death row.

Author's note:  This is a work in progress.  I'm going to post a new part each Monday, until (and if) I stall at some point.  

Also, I'm worried I might  have some  'point of view' problems with this thing.  If you notice any, please point them out.  Thanking you in advance
