The Dance Competition in Belmont Valley was the most anticipated event of the year for ballroom dancers. Winning it is the ultimate achievement. My name is Ava Rouge, and it has been my dream to win it my senior year since kindergarten. However, all didn't go to plan. I fell in love with my partner, even though I knew he was suspicious. I trusted him. But when I needed him the most, he let me down. He sabotaged me to make his sister win the championship. This isn't a story of how I fell in love with him, a small part is, but the most important part is what happened after.

**Note** This story is unfinished and unedited. I reposted it (after having taken it down after I lost the motivation to write it) because a lot of readers requested an update on Rose and Luke from The Text Message Love Story (which was the original intention of this story). So enjoy but know that this is not a finished, edited work, nor will it ever be finished or edited. Ava is tired of being the unpopular kid. Over the summer between her sophomore and junior year in high school, she creates a plan to fully enjoy her junior year. The goal: get a super hot prom date. Something Ava has yet to learn: not all prom dates are created equal. Join Ava in her quest as she searches for the perfect guy, practices fencing, and learns what it truly means to be a junior in high school.
