Emmalee Andrews was Hannah Baker's best friend. They went through just about everything together, until the night of Jessica Davis's party. When Emmalee left the party and got into a wreck, causing her to be temporarily hospitalized, Hannah no longer had her support to keep her from ending her life. When Emmalee wakes up, she has to listen to the tapes. Read the story as Emmalee assesses the Beginning and the Memory.
This story isn't going to be exactly like the show, but there will be some parts from the show. I hope it all makes sense.

This story is about drugs, sex, bullying, demotic abuse, child abuse, SA, and some of the trauma that leads to this and comes from this. Kayla is a strong, intelligent, mature, motivated teenager trying to move forward after her friend Hannah bakers death. I'm writing this 5 years after posting this book: I want to keep it up because people still read it but it's such an awful book & I'm so sorry.Complete
