In life, we face many, many trials and tribulations. Some more than others. Abuse, poverty, sexism, racism, war, genocide, and so much more. It's sad. For teenagers, it's not any easier.
Hawkins, Indiana is a small town. Very small. A place where everyone knows everyone. White picket fences, kids biking every day, and happy families as far as the eye can see. Well, the blind eye anyway.
What many visitors don't know is, Hawkins is divided into two parts. The south side and the rest of Hawkins. There were so many people on the south side that many thought it was a second town. They called it Derry.
After children in Hawkins and Derry start to disappear, it's up to 16 teenagers to put an end to the terror. But, it's not like they wanted to. They were only teenagers for Christ's sake! They only did it for the Hot Cocoa.
