"I told you Scarlet. I want to help you. You need help." He replied.
"No! Let go of me. You'll never understand." I said on the verge of tears.
He shook his head and made me look into his cold, yet warm brown eyes. They were shining with pain. He held onto me tighter.
"You're right. However, I might be able to if you tell me." He said.
"You can read my mind, so why don't you do that?" I asked my voice breaking at the end.
"I can't read your mind anymore." He replied softly.
