she had both warmth
and all the harm
he would like
and dislike.

bambi eyes,
pouted smiles,
he could not resist
letting himself insist

that he adored and
wanted her hand
and all she was
as his last.

it's their story
told by him only,
not only to be heard
but also to be learned.

[A story of unrequited romance spoken through one point of view in narrative poetries.]

The Curse of Sleeping beauty

16 parts Ongoing Mature

The moment she was born, a shadow had stirred. The wind had whispered. Magic had awakened. And he had watched. When he curses her, it will be slow, deliberate. Her innocence will be her undoing, and he will be the one to watch as the world falls apart around her. But there's something more. Something he can't shake. Love for the girl who would be the end of everything he knows? He can't allow it. Not even if the darkness in him calls for it.
