The raven haired boy stared into his own reflection, thousands of emotions flashed through his mind. He felt another drop of blood hit the polished tiles, crimson red covered the floor. The aching in his heart pained him greatly, stress was clearly shown in his eyes. He reached a shaking hand towards the thick glass of his cell.
However, his vision became foggy as he tried to gasp for air, consciousness was leaving him as he left a streak of scarlett blood on the glass. Everything went black.......

I said..." the golden stranger spat, "KNEEEEL!" he roared, banging his stick on the ground and creating a huge blue flash. All around me, people froze in place, and started... kneeling? Even the ones that didn't speak English kneeled obediently. Why are you listening to this psycho? I looked around frantically, praying not to be the only one left standing. Because I refuse to kneel to some scary jerk with a big stick! No way! Oh crap, I was the only one left standing. I looked around nervously. What am I doing? I spotted Cath giving me a terrified look like, Get down here right now, you idiot! But I refused to back down. Okay, no other option. Time to be a stupid teen, I thought frantically. "No," I said quietly, my eyes wide and muscles tense. I tried to suppress my scared tone, but I had a feeling I didn't sound very brave. I'm so dead I'm so dead! The man's eyes speared into my gut. I couldn't stop myself from trembling, but I tried desperately not to make it too obvious. "What?" he hissed with enough venom in his tone to scare a rattlesnake. Tears collected in the corner of my eyes, and a cold feeling started to make its way through my stomach and hands. "I. Said. No," I managed to get out. His eyes narrowed. A jolt of terror ran through me. What's he going to do? Slowly, like a lion that cornered its prey, he stepped towards me. The voices in my head rose to a crescendo, warring in my brain as he reached a pale, long-fingered hand for my head. I tried to run, to scream, to hit him, to do anything to stop him from doing whatever he was about to do, but my body was petrified by the tendrils of terror running through it. He smirked, causing a sickening burst of fear to rush to my head. What is he doing WHAT IS HE DOING-? Then he pressed his hand to my forehead and a green light flared where his skin met mine. The curtain around the hospital bed slides open to reveal an African American man with warm eyes. He walks in with an easy smile and a white man steps in just behind him with dark blue eyes and near black brown waves that fall to his shoulders. The man behind him catches my eye, his eyes a bright blue with a crown of golden hair. Our eyes meet and his crystal blue ones widen. Déjà vu hits me like a truck and my mind bounces back to a fuzzy night a couple of months ago full of hard liquor. While I can't remember many things from that night, I do remember those blue eyes vividly. My lips pop open and a blush tints my cheeks as well as his. Oh, Jesus, I had a one-night stand with Captain America. Reagan Monroe was born with a gift she never wanted and hates to use now. She's isolated herself, but since life is relatively shit, trouble still manages to find her.
