Nadia Sindile knows nothing but this frigid wasteland anymore. There is nothing but the endless days she counts. It's been six years since the massacre of her family and village. Six years since she crawled out with barely her life, and three years since she was caught during the detainment of child orphans in an effort to cover up The Empire's genocide.

Now trapped in a child internment camp north of her homeland, Nadia desperately searches for a way out, hoping that she can find her way to the rebellion against the empire. But as the reality of who she's leaving to wolves begins to surface, she realizes her only way out might might be with the very people she plans to kill.

Offered a choice between death or a chance to become a weapon of the empire, this might be her only chance to avenge the death of her people from the inside. But that's only if she survives her training as an assassin. And she's not the only one with an agenda.

But the truth about The Empire and it's vicious empress lies with Nadia's true past, a legacy she'd rather die before she sees it come to pass.

Monsters Are Created By Other Monsters. Sou & Isabelle, A set of eccentric and unhinged twins with erratic elemental powers has to set aside their differences, control their evergrowing power and win a war in order to protect the only place they call home their academy and other gifted people from being hunted by the beast. - What you're about to read doesn't matter because a sinister force lurks beyond the great graveyard that protects the institution of, for and by the gifted! The first thing you need to understand about this story is it stems from a place of really deep mistrust and an unforgivable betrayal. That's an angry theme. But that all of that changes when we realise there's a lot more to this ever-expanding story! If there are Witches in this universe then obviously there are Witch hunters to just finish them off. There's a rich history or a back story where almost 20 years ago the hunters gathered and removed all existence of witches with elemental magic (Controlling Earth, Fire, Water, Air & Spirit ) but only two survived. That's when the book jumps in to follow the path of those survivors. Um, there are factions of offensive(Elementals) and defensive covens(Guardians) and then there's the elements of epic love, love that consumes the people involved and of course what's love without a little danger. - Thank you so much if you've read this far. I deeply urge you to binge read the book and decide for yourself whether it's unputdownable or not. Thank you so much by the way dear reader. By reading this book you are supporting a plus-sized lgbtqiaap+ community model/writer who has seen nothing but struggle and blatant discrimination everywhere.

Mora, once innocent and sheltered, begins a new life at a prestigious academy. But as chilling secrets about her past-and the world around her-begin to unravel, she starts to wonder: Was any of it ever real, or was she living inside a web of lies? What starts as a search for truth spirals into something far darker. Mora realizes she isn't just uncovering secrets-she's walking a path someone designed for her. A pawn in a deeper, crueler game. Can she break free from a fate she never chose? Antagonist (Kairos): "They call it fate. I call it design. You don't lose when I take your will-you lose the moment you believed you ever had it. Fate isn't cruel. It's exactly methodical." Aaron: "People always think peaceful places are so damn perfect. But peace can be heavy too, can't it? Like silence that never lets you speak." Mora: "I never asked to be everyone's perfect doll-no thanks. Perfection's just a fancy cage wearing a pretty face. If it thinks it can keep me locked in, it's got another thing coming. Time to say goodbye, and don't let the door hit you on the way out-with grace, okay sweetheart." Tagline: "She didn't ask to be saved. She only wanted not to be unseen." --- Content Warning: This story contains emotionally charged content and intense scenes, including psychological trauma, manipulation, and grief, as well as vivid combat sequences involving blood, injury, and high-stakes confrontation. Themes of identity, moral ambiguity, and emotional conflict are explored throughout. Not every wound is visible. Not every battle ends with victory. "A/N: This story has an alternate version with a different protagonist. If you're interested in exploring the same world and themes from a different perspective, check out 'What Left' story!"
