Audrey Reed is finally leaving home after 21 years. After a mysterious animal attack that left her parentless at three, she was adopted by her grandparents in Georgia, and that's where she's been ever since.
When she got offered a graduate level position at Simon Fraser University in Canada, her grandparents basically pushed her out of the house saying she needed to live her life to the fullest and not tied down by one place. It's what her parents would have wanted.
What happens though when she hears the strange call when night falls?
