Thorn's life is shaken up quite a bit when some dangerous animals who were involved in his dark past reappear in his life!  Thorn is now in search of help, he desperately needs protection for himself and his fellow animals who are all now in danger.  Eventually, he hears of an old tale about a magic flower that dwells near his forest.  As quickly as he can, he seeks out this flower.  Once he finally discovers the plant, he realizes that this flower, isn't just a flower, it is alive, able to speak, and has a massive knowledge of the world they live in.  The flower eventually agrees to help the poor bird, but it comes at a cost.  Due to trouble in this flower's past, her petals have slowly begun to wilt and blow away in the wind, and she needs all of them to be able to use her magic properly.
A deal is struck!  Thorn will venture out into the vast world surrounding him, in search of this Flower's lost, magical petals.
