A novel of struggle and survival. In a rustic northern Nigerian setting, the major character, Sani faces multiple problems, his only crime was being born the only male in an extended family and that leads to clash or rather, clash of clans, at a tender age he lost both parents and had to struggle for survival under the care of his step mother. That saw him suffer and subsequently joins his grandmother Kulwa and Uncle Sambo. He passes through a new experience before he finally goes to the city of Zaria to earn himself a degree in Mass Communication having applied for Law and was not offered.
In the course of his study Sani falls in love with Fati who was from a higher class and saw a clash with Ismail who was her cousin and also from the wealthy family, that saw the clash of class or economic status and how that played out in the selection of her husband. At some point, Fati was forced to marry her cousin Ismail and she eventually declined despite her no-nonsense father. When he insisted, Fati threatened and attempted suicide. That brought her father to accept her desire to marry Sani, a poor hamlet young man.
Unfortunately, after this, Sani was caught fondling with Zulaihat who was Fati's bosom friend. At first Zulaihat hated Sani with the greatest degree of resentment but along the line somehow she either developed likeness for him or hatred that she went to Sani's house and attempted raping him, conniving with Ismail to call Fati's attention to what was happening and the location. That saw an end to her love for Sani and finally decides to marry Ismail.
When in their marriage she discovers that Zulaihat is pregnant for her husband and blackmails him to marry her, Fati made sure she divorces him and resettled with Sani. Sani never marries afterwards until Fati came to him after divorce but unfortunately something happened...

"My name is Rashiq Salim bin Fiqri Zafar, Crown Prince of Arandia and I need your help." "I'm sorry, did you say prince?" "Yes, and you, Ms. Walker are going to be my bride." She spluttered her coffee over him again. "What?!" Simply a business proposal... The last thing Annabelle Walker expected was a handsome, rich billionaire sheikh prince walking into her life and proposing marriage to her for a span of a year. Or even the fact that she would agree to his proposal. The next thing she knows, her life is never the same. Juggling between college and keeping their marriage a secret, there are more burdens and secrecy than before. Pressure builds during the day but is relinquished in passion-filled nights in her husband's bed... Or could it be more? Rashiq Zafar, Crown Prince of Arandia needs a wife and he needs it quick. When he sees Annabelle Walker, she fit his requirements perfectly. She needs money and he had money. All he needs her is for a year and they would walk away unaffected. But the last thing he expected was new emotions to follow his decision to get married... _____________________________________________________________ Okay, I've been getting a lot of offensive comments on his religion and race and bla bla bla. I just want to let you know that where I come from, I do know the basic customs and I think some of you are being too offensive for a fictional story. This story has absolutely no relations to religion. At all. All I did was select a certain nationality for my main lead. Plus, its a fictional country! I have done my research and I do not appreciate people saying my characters are going to hell and stuff. So, I've changed the name a bit and removed the "bin". Once again, I'll say this, this story has some sexual content so if you are sensitive to it either due to morality or religious reasons, please do not read any further. Thank you. PS: The rest of you, do enjoy!

LET ME HATE YOU

A marriage neither wanted. A hatred neither understands. Two strangers tied by a past that stains everything between them. He never wanted a wife. Especially not her. Cold, distant, and poisoned by assumptions, Amaan enters the forced marriage with one intention- to keep his distance and keep his resentment alive. Asmaira enters with something far heavier- guilt. Not to protect him. Not to save him. But because she knows the truth of what happened... and she cannot bear to confess it. They have never met. But the moment they do, the air turns sharp- full of tension, unspoken accusations, and the kind of hate that feels too much like longing. He despises her for a sin she never committed. She punishes herself for a sin she never confessed. And marriage turns into a battleground where silence is a weapon... and closeness is a threat. In this house, love is impossible. Trust is deadly. But hatred? Hatred is the only thing keeping them alive.
