Unbeknownst to Karma, Death was watching from the corner of the hospital room when she was being born. Fascinated by life, it imprinted on Karma. As the years went by, Death saw her often being bullied at school and couldn't do anything but watch; as taking the life of Karma's bullies would have been too much of a verdict. However, Karma has just been kidnapped and Death is pissed.

Gasps were heard throughout the hall and Chase instantly fell to the ground, holding his precious jewels. "What the fuck?!" He groaned. In a deadly sweet voice I got down to eye level. "Well now you know how it feels when you break a girls heart". I stood up and walked away. Everyone looked at me with awe stricken faces and I twirled my body around putting my hand on my hip. "By the way the names Avery Blue" I spoke loudly. Flashes of recognition crossed people's faces but Chase was the most shocked of them all. I stared at Chase straight in the eyes. This story is about a 16 year old girl named Melody Swift. Ever since her mother died, her so-called "father" started abusing her. Kids at school are cruel, they bully her brutally just because she's different. She simply waits for everything to get better, after all what's the point in trying when the world will do whatever they can to drag you down. Her only escape from this twisted reality is a creature named Shadow. A terrifying creature that is somehow more humane than the so-called humans around her. Shadow could easily take all her problems away, but Melody refuses to take the easy way out. That is, until she just couldn't take it anymore, she takes Shadow's offer and soon her life got better. Her bullies started disappearing, showing up dead in the woods. Their bodies badly mutilated, almost unrecognizable. Life at school started getting better, she finally had human friends and even a boyfriend. Her "father" was found dead at her house. The torture had finally ended. Unfortunately this story doesn't have a happy ending, after all karma always strikes back.Concluida
