A Real Nightmare
For Katerina Tremain, life as a child was difficult, and as an adult has only gotten worse. As a small child, Kat's parents always nit picked at everything she did. It was never good enough for them. She was a failure in their eyes and no matter how much she tried to exceed their expectations, she was still not good enough. She never would be. She developed low self esteem, anxiety, depression, and over time-paranoia. She adapted and learned to deal with it. She was afraid to do anything for herself. Paranoia along with the constant "What could happen" plagued her every move, her every decision. Fear of the unknown. Going to club 'Pure' was the start of her new life, but when a stranger buys you a drink...you shouldn't accept it. That undiluted feeling of 'fight or flight' hit her in one enormous wave. I jumped to my feet and punched him in the side. There was hardly an effect. "You're weak" he spat, walking a step closer towards me. I growled as I had had it with this blood sucking devil! He was beautiful with his gleaming coat and strong legs. The black wolf left Liam on the ground and fiercely killed all of Liam's minions easily. He wasn't finished with his prowl, he turned back to face Liam but realized that the pureblooded vampire had already run off. Then I hear a deep growl.
