John Bender fell hard for Claire Standish, despite their differences. She works at a record store on the rich end of town, and he is a frequent customer.
Who knew that his simple, single, purchase of a Sony Walkman would prompt Claire to give their relationship the push to get stronger?
Can their relationship withstand the series of troubles thrown their way?
>Just a warning for language, and mentions/descriptions of canon child abuse because John Benders dad is a drunk jerk.<
[Strongly canon divergent, and personal headcanons incorporated. Allusion to Pretty In Pink, if you catch it, Claire works in a record store. Claire's mom is also not completely drunk, or in the Caribbean.]
