Nome, Alaska. A small and quiet town, yet still comfortable enough and safe. At least, it was until a group of strange wolves arrive one night. Immediately, everything changes as their reason for being there slowly unfolds. 


After years of peace, Balto is reminded once again that there are still dangers that threaten his family when he his son, Kodi, is found beaten and bloody after an attack. Still coping with his grief over his death after Kodi is euthanized, it becomes apparent to him that more is going on here than meets the eye. Fueled by his need to understand why his son died, Balto is forced to dig into a mystery he can't solve on his own.

Watching her waiting for her to come back to me. I wait for him to slip up just long enough for me to swoop in and take her. It's only a matter of time. I wait for him to turn into that hideous beast. The beast that only comes out in the light of the moon. The beast that feeds of the insentient. I have to find her,to make her perfect, at least that's what they tell me. They tell me she'll be perfect and she will be mine. She will be the beginning of a new ere the ere of the beast. The Adventure Kids travel back in time to a remote town in Alaska called Nome, in the winter of 1925. There they meet two husky dogs named Balto and Togo, along with their many colorful friends. The gang soon learns that the town has been overtaken by a deadly diphtheria epidemic which threatens the children living there. But with the medicine located hundreds of miles away and a major blizzard moving in, the brave sled dogs and their mushers risk life and limb to travel across the frozen wilderness and deliver the life-saving serum in a desperate race against time. Against all odds, the Adventure Kids help Balto and Togo overcome the impossible, as they discover the true tale of two of America's greatest four-legged heroes.
