After the death of her mother, Claire Nelson impulsively makes a long journey from her home in Australia to the little town of Landrum, South Carolina to chase her childhood bedtime stories of adventure and belonging. There she finds herself staying at a family run B&B that bares an eerie resemblance to those late night stories her mother used to tell.
Under the care of Maggie and Al McMoore she finds herself gaining an understanding of herself, her mother and a life she never knew she had.

Jarrod McMoore is the work-a-holic son of the McMoore's and father to the adorable Alice Jay. When he first notices a free-spirited blonde at the local bar, he's smitten at first glance; but a rocky history with women leaves him torn between family life and his love for his job - horse trainer.
