In Zinnia's world, there have always been two sides. The Darksiders, who believe in unrestricted freedom for all, fight for the right to do whatever they desire. The Lightsiders believe that strict leadership and rigid organization can keep the world content and safe. Zinnia knows all about the war between the Darksiders and the Lightsiders, but there is a third player no one has heard of: The Balancers. It is their job to ensure no one wins the war. However, over time, the Balancers have grown weak, their influence diminishing. They need fresh talent -- and have their sights on Zinnia. It is dangerous work, but if she fails the balance between chaos and order will forever be destroyed.
