Daphnée only wants a single thing since the end of her high school years, which is to start it all over again. Every mockery and prejudice she received back in New Jersey are over. From now on, she'll live a completely different life in the city of Boston and build herself a totally new reputation; the one of an outgoing and appreciated girl. However, things don't always happen the way we want them to. That's what our young college girl will learn through numerous adventures, all as unlucky as they are hilarious. Boys, university and friends are sometimes too much to manage all at once for one person ! « Being shy is a personnality trait, not a lifestyle » - IMPORTANT / This is the translation of « Douce », which is a story I wrote in French. The dialogs will therefore be written in the proper French way and may not look like the way English readers are used to see. ***WARNING : - Some of the places in this story are real, but I made some up too to make things fit. - This is my work, so no plagiarism will be tolerated.

Nat returns to campus for her senior year of college. Something's in the air - is it anxiety? Is it pot fumes drifting out of someone's dorm window? Is it Old Town Road, dancing on the breeze? Ope, nope, it's just hope (haha) that maybe, just maybe, a certain friendship with a certain someone might turn into something more. *** YA romcom/murder mystery because why not? Marked mature for language and mention of suicide. *** Excuse the cringey description, I don't usually write this kind of YA.
