Jesse Custer and his fraternal twin sister Sawyer living in their late Father's church was never where Jesse thought he would be by this point in his life. Him trying to make the whole thing work and Sawyer just trying to keep her head above the water. She was a nice girl always was, to everyone on the outside, but she was just as bad as her brother before she took on the church and its responsibility. She never preached or anything like that only kept the place from falling down around her while Jesse was off playing outlaws with his true love Tulip.
Sawyer had never had any great love in her life, that is until a very strange quirky character comes to town and soon finds himself taking up in Sawyer's old bedroom at the church tasked with fixing the AC. Thats how it started anyway.
