Soulmates?
I think they exist. Just not always romantically.
I believe that there are certain people in your life who you just connect with, more than anyone else. And you know this isn't a typical thing, yet you understand each other perfectly.
I think that this person won't always be your soul mate, they could be your friend or even sibling first. Parent, teacher, someone you're dating, whoever! It could be just about anyone you've interacted with. In my case, it was one of my closest friends.
And let me go ahead and tell you about how all of that changed. Friends? No, soulmates.

Alluvion's Water Lily
Lily was born two years before the Soulmate serum, Amorium, was released to the public. The fairy tales told to her by her mom while she was growing up were slightly reworked to ensure that little Lily knew the prince and princess of the story were Soulmates. As she grew a little older, drifting away from fairy tales, she started to become infatuated with online articles of real Soulmates finding each other. It became her life's goal to not only find her own Soulmate, but to get the serum injection as soon as feasibly possible. She never expects to be one of the rare few to end up with more than one Soulmate. Never in her wildest imaginations would her Soulmates be the internationally famous Kpop group, Alluvion. Will she be able to handle having five different relationships with five different men? And how will she cope with the fame by association? She might not know the answers to either question, but she isn't about to just turn her back on her future. Gamon, Juah, Jiseong, Jaeyeon, and Minsook had forgotten to continue their search for their Soulmates after their marks didn't appear when they first initially got the serum injections. Life and their careers had gotten in the way. However when they discover that they all have identical Soulmate marks their focus turns to search the world for their shared Soulmate. Alluvion's Water Lily is loosely based on my BTS Fanfic Encoded in Our DNA. So, if you have read that you might see some similarities. It is mostly only based on the framework of the soulmate serum idea however. Meaning it is mostly its own original story. This story is a reverse harem. Meaning she will have a romantic relationship with five different men and won't have to choose between them.

@zpanacea gave me the suggestion to write a soulmate fic where Harry's and Louis's souls switch and they wake up in each other's bodies. Until you find your soulmate the world is in black and white until you meet your soulmate. When you turn 18 a tattoo of your soulmate's first word to you appears on your arm. If you're older than your soulmate you stay 18 until he/she/they catch up. When Harry wakes up on his 13th birthday he notices two things. 1. The room is in color. 2.
