" Emotions.
Feelings.
Sadness, Love, Desire, tell me....
how does that feel like? "
--
Meet 20 year old Arden Loise, who has been diagnosed with severe alexithymia: a personality trait that prevents oneself to feel or reciprocate any type of emotion to thyself properly, or to appreciate emotions from another. Arden's been like this her whole life, never once feeling the need to celebrate after feeling proud or happy, or feeling the need to cry after getting hurt or feeling sad. And if the situation calls for some type of feeling, she'll just fake her way through it with a hollow smile, or with a sour tear.
Emptyness, apathy, and a hollow heart is all you'll find inside of her.
But, will a certain man by the name of Park Jimin- who just became her next door neighbour- find his way into Arden's hollow heart, and somehow make her feel love and, ultimately, make her fall in love, a feeling so new and desireable, yet so delicate and fragile? Will he be the first to conquer Arden Loise?
A/N:
Hey guys! This is actually my very first book that I'll be working on and I hope you guys enjoy it! And just a disclaimer or an FYI, by any means I mean no offense or mean to make fun of people that actually have alexithymia or offend people that know of people that have alexithymia. I'm solely just using it to describe the character's personality, as it was the closest match to what I wanted Arden's personality to be. Please, if I made any wrong statements about alexithymia, please do tell me and message me! Thank you again, and hope you guys have a great day!😊💗
