Ava Salvatore was done with Mystic Falls. She had went to see her brothers that she hadn't seen in at least 20 years but what she got was so much more than she could handle with doppelgängers and original vampires that are actually a hybrid that was planning on killing the girl both her brothers are in love with. She actually got along with the original family perfectly she was friends with them all except Finn, even Klaus loved her. (Like an other sister of course) But she had enough and wanted some time away so she chose to go to the one place she had never been but always wanted to go, California. She moves into a small town named Beacon Hills and enrolled in high school, like her older brother Stefan did when he first moved back to Mystic Falls. Ava was always closer to Damon but still loves Stefan dearly. What Ava found in Beacon Hills was definitely not what she expected or wanted. So much for getting away from the supernatural drama.
