It was common knowledge that the Black family was not to be trifled with. They were the epitome of power and wealth. Why does the entire world kneel before them? They were seemingly invincible.

But what if the family themselves was their undoing?

Sirius Black had spent his entire life distancing himself from his vile family and opposing the Dark side.

But then someone came after him, tried to put him down and nearly succeeded. More importantly, they went after someone very close to him.

In the process, they forgot who he really was.

Sirius was the fine line between Dark and Light. But in times like these, it was incredibly easy for that line to get blurred.

Everyone hated war. But to Sirius, it went way beyond hate. It was about revenge, to bring about the downfall of everyone who had ever wronged him. The Black dynasty had caused enough chaos and grief for centuries.

His family was coming for him? Let them come.

Voldemort wanted him dead? The feeling's mutual, mate.

Ultimately, Sirius was going to be ready for them. Each and every one of them. The Dark Side had already taken enough from him.

No more.

It was time that he learned that the only way to beat the darkness outside, is to embrace the one inside.

And in the end, he would win.
