Again and again, things fall apart and nothing ever goes right. For Ryder, when the girl he has ever loved died, it left him hurting, hesitant and afraid to face the world. He didn't want to hurt, and he never wanted to lose someone again. So he cut himself off from his feelings, and built a wall between him and everyone else.
For Haley, being the kid of the CEO of several huge and successful companies meant that her life was constantly threatened. People wanted to kidnap or kill her : for either money or revenge. Unable to be with his daughter, her father hires bodyguards to protect her 24/7.
But Haley hates bodyguards. She's tired of them, she doesn't need them, and she doesn't want them to throw or hook themselves up with her. She just wants to lead a comfortable life any 21 year old would live.
But when fate puts them together, they are forced to accept each other's companion for the whole of summer. Haley starts to notice the difference about this young man, and can't help but be attracted to him. This summer, it might be their only chance at saving each other...

Sadly enough though, his dad and some 3 boys at school have been tormenting him for years on end. But his life gets a bit better once his parents old high school friends come to surprisedly visit them one rainy evening on a Saturday night in 2019, bringing along their 3 kids, Kai, the eldest and Lily and Ivy, the two younger twins always bickering whenever you set eyes on them. Although once in high school and having more friends, his life still wasn't the best as he did still struggle with his dad and those 3 boys tormenting him, as well as struggling with a few disorders - This is a book about my ocs, my two main ones being Ashton and Kai, and some other 4 main ocs, siding with others in the book. This is a romance book, mainly focusing on Ashton and Kai, but also focusing on the others in the book a bit too. This book is filled with lots of ups and downs, including sad moments, happy moments, and plenty of other moments the characters will face. I wrote this when I was younger. It's when I first started writing mature scenes so it's a tad cringy and super rushed. Just to warn you. In Ivory Jenkins senior year, she wants to commit herself to soccer. She had dreamt of this since she was the age of five. The only thing that kept her from playing soccer, was her parents. What they didn't know is that she has been making money to pay to play for a club team. Mix that with Bar's possessiveness and overprotective behavior, some interesting situations will definitely arise. Adding in the fact that Clementine had to tutor Bar for the rest of the school year and his almost instinctual urge to be apart of her life, they are bound to get close. Bar swears, Clementine hates it. He fights, she glares while bandaging up his knuckles. She reads instead of eats and he refuses dinner until she joins him. He is rude and she ignores him until he apologizes. Both, easily, frustrate the other while simultaneously falling into love.
