I like writing essays with words that flow like misguided poetry, a river that doesn't know where it's going but is certain it will get there.

I like words. Their meanings, connotations, associations, pronunciations... I like using big words, they make me feel smarter than I am.

I often lose the words I need. I can't always think of the right ones, so my mind makes something up to fill the void. For example, I forgot the airport was called the airport, so I called it a plane station, without even questioning if that was the right term. I do that a lot. So if there's something in this that is totally wrong, that's just my brain being wonky, working overtime slowly.

I'm not great at writing. I just like words.
