In a distant future where a handful of far-flung human colonies are lorded over by a bloated, inefficient government, something dark looms just over the galactic horizon. But mysterious phenomena propelled the Astartes onto a planet that was not the intended target... nor within the system the battle was taking place... Neither was it within the same galaxy. This story follows his adventures in this new world, as he is forced to adapt to the environment around him... and whatever else it may contain.
Incident at Facility IX
A story set in the Warhammer 40k universe that I entered into the recent Black Library submissions window. A Planetary Defense Force squad led by a former Imperial Guard trooper are sent on a mission to a seemingly innocuous facility in the vast forests of their home world. Before long, the true nature of the situation at Facility IX becomes clear, and the squad are in a fight for their lives against a terrifying and insidious enemy.
