It started freshman year accidentally. They had too much to drink and were being too impulsive. Being best friend's, they scrambled up the stairs, and just like that, they lost their virginities.
It carried out through high school. When there was bad news, bad day, bad mood, they wanted fun. With no strings attached. That was what they got. They remained best friend's throughout the years. No one knew of their fun.
They were the classic friends with benefits. Winn had no other. No other dates or hook-ups, she liked it to be casual. Just something to do when she was bored, but she'd be lying to herself if she didn't admit that she didn't enjoy their talks after.
Jordan was the opposite. He had many dates and hook-ups. Yet he could not get into the others after Winn. Winn ruined him and he knew it. He was infatuated with her. To keep what they had, he remained silent and took Winn's casualty towards them.
Winn didn't know how much he meant to her before he called everything off and got a girlfriend. Jordan didn't know how much he lost when he got a girlfriend and severed ties with his former best friend.
This story explores both sides of their relationship.

I was doing just fine my junior year of high school. I mean I did pick fights once in a while and my grades weren't the best, but I was doing okay. Xander was my best friend, actually my only friend. We didn't need anyone else, really. But then Ryker came back more badass than ever. I've hated him since we were children and apparently the feeling is mutual. We don't get along. He's cocky, arrogant, and downright mean. We were better off while he was gone. He should never have moved back. So, I stole his motorcycle.
