"Polar opposites" is a term used to describe things that have nothing in common. But whenever it is used in science, poles need to have another pole, or else they aren't complete. The North and South poles help keep the Earth on its axis. So maybe Louis and Harry need each other to stay on their axes, even if they are polar opposites.
