Two Oceans In between us {Anne and Gilbert}

{This story takes places right after season 2 ends. So if you haven't watched it yet this might contain spoilers!}

After Sebastian and Mary's wedding, everything seemed to be going well in Avonlea. Green Gables was running smoothly, Ms. Stacy is continuing to teach, and Anne still has a grand imagination. When Gilbert Blythe trains to become a doctor, he couldn't help but notice a certain sickness spreading around the small town, some in which are deadly. When Anne wakes up to find both Mathew and Marilla sick she begans to take matter into her own hands, not wanting Gilbert to intrude as she thought she could handle it herself. Ruby and Diana aren't around when both their parents take a trip to head North, leaving poor Anne by herself. If things couldn't get any worse, Gilbert also takes his leave on another steamboat, traveling back to Trinidad to help bring Sebastian's mother back to Avonlea. When a great storm brews of the coast, heading straight towards the small town, Anne finds herself in a difficult position to fend for herself, and the rest of Green Gables.
