(Warning: Spoilers for some of the mystery dungeon games) What if one day you turned into a Pokémon and tasked with saving the world? Meet Flare, your average sarcastic and cautious high-school student. He certainly doesn't feel or look like the hero of this story, but there might be more than he let's on. One day, Flare wakes up on a beach as a Cyndaquil, having no memory of his life prior to this. The last thing he remembered was disintegrating into golden dust and getting transported through a purple vortex While he tries to find out why he was turned into a Pokémon, a Treecko named Florian befriends him. Florian invites Flare to start a rescue team with him, with no other options, Flare accepts, and together, they form a rescue team to help others in need. They discover lost lands, uncover hidden treasures, and go on one-of-a-kind adventures. However, there are dark secrets to unravel, Flare has to keep his past as a human a secret, and on top of that, a group is out, looking for him. All Flare wants to do is get back home, but he might make some new friends and save the world along the way. (This story contains elements from every Pokémon Mystery Dungeon game and is my first attempt at writing, so don't expect flawless work) I do not own Pokémon Characters are made using Gacha Life 2 because I suck at drawing I also PURPOSELY made some parts in the story cringey because in the actual Pmd games, the characters act childish at times (I just wanted to make that clear)

Red, a 10-year-old Pokémon Trainer, after rejecting the oppurtunity to become the Viridian City Gym Leader must continue his quest of becoming a Pokémon Master to the Johto Region. A - The book crosses over with @Bossun24 's Pokemon Leaf Chronicles for 6 chapters. The crossover had been planned 1 year prior to its publishing. Q - Why is Leaf replaced by Lyra? A - Leaf is not replaced by Lyra, both characters are different in their own ways. I wanted to get Leaf out of the picture for a different kind of character growth. Lyra is Red's cousin sister, with Red being an experienced trainer, he acts like a mentor to her. Q - So time travel happens in this one? A - It does, and its fun how it plays out. Q - Who is this Masked Man? There was a masked man in the manga too. A - While the idea was original, a mystery man who structures every Team Rocket plan and assists Giovanni. I was shocked to see that the manga had someone named "Masked Man" as well. Q - Who is this Masked Man? And why is he important? A - A mystery man controlling every aspect of a criminal organisation and has been the true mastermind of Giovanni's every plan? Sounds pretty important to me. As for his identity, I was very unsure if I was ever going to reveal it as it was not very important at first until the second book was coming to an end.Complete
