How do you get to know someone who makes you sick to be around? That's the problem Fred Turner struggles to solve while working alongside his obnoxiously hot coworker Kevin. But every day presents a new opportunity, including a forced meet-cute where Fred literally walks into Kevin. It's not cute, just painful. Fred catches a break, his manager chooses him and Kevin to attend a convention out of town for the weekend. This is what Fred needed, a chance to make his move without everything back home getting in the way. It sounds great, but now Fred has to navigate the strange world of corporate America while trying to confess his first feelings of true love. The ending is predictable, but how Fred gets there is anything but expected. There's a bathroom makeover by women in HR that goes horribly wrong. There's a dwarf on a Segway who gives motivational speeches. There's an emotional support dog that won't leave Fred alone. And there's the sense that no matter how far life goes to humiliate you, there's still a chance for a happy ending.

Fred is your typical teenager; moody, has low-self esteem, and is really bad at math. The only thing that makes him different from the other guys is his taste in music and his sexuality. He knows what he wants right from the start, but is scared of other people thoughts and judgements, and that's why he's kept himself inside the closet ever since he realized he's not really into girls. He tried to hide it from everyone else, even to his close circle of friends, but all of his plans started going south when he meets their new neighbor, Darren, a very handsome fellow who moved to Los Angeles with his family all the way from South Korea to live at the house on the other side of the road. Fred falls for him at first-sight, and things started to escalate when he found out that they were on the same class, and things got even more deeper when Darren agreed to be his tutor in calculus. That's when he realized that his hiding needed to stop. Witness as the two of them struggle with their hardships, relationships, and responsibilities in life as they try to keep their friendship intact from a rollercoaster ride of emotions. Will they manage to keep their relationship as it is, or will it develop into something more, that even an ocean spanning miles and miles couldn't completely separate them from one another?
