When tech genius Alex Chen accidentally solves an "impossible" locked-room murder, hard-nosed Detective Marcus Rivera reluctantly brings him on as the NYPD's first civilian consultant. What starts as professional necessity quickly becomes something more dangerous,a partnership that challenges everything both men thought they knew about crime, justice, and each other. From art gallery heists to medical theft rings, Alex's unconventional methods clash with Marcus's by-the-book approach, creating sparks both professional and personal. But when corrupt cops, missing students, and sophisticated criminals test their growing trust, they discover that the most complex mystery might be the one developing between them. In a city where every case seems impossible until you find the right angle, two very different men must learn that the best partnerships-and the deepest connections-come from combining logic with instinct, rules with innovation, and professional respect with something that feels dangerously like love.
