In ancient times, people who was chosen as Kings and Emperors have special powers to rule their territories, Kingdoms and Nations. Those who have a crown mark on their bodies have the ability to govern the people and worthy to be called as Kings and Emperors. In this world, those who have powers are called Ability users, and few were chosen. Those that have mark upon their bodies with special powers are called the King's or even Emperor's Elite Knights to protect their ruler for their entire life, and rare are chosen, but the most rarest of them all is the birth of an Empress or a Queen who bears the mark.

For the first time in Japan, someone was chosen to bear the title of the Queen/Empress Mark, and his name was Kuroko Tetsuya.

This is a story about him, wanting to live a normal life.
