When Ava and her family find out that vampires are about to take over their country they leave their hometown in search of a vampire safe sanctuary. Ava only being seven years old when her family left with her to cross the border into Meridian has to rely on those dear to her. But what happens when everyone she knows is lost to her, and she is captured? How long will she survive and what will she endure on her road back to freedom.
