"There is no us!" I screamed.

"Why? What did I do wrong?" He spoke softly.

He never screamed at me or anything, in fact he has done nothing but care for me. So why won't I let him in? I've built these walls and I didn't even realize it.

"Can we talk later? Mom is having people over for dinner and I need to get ready. I'll text you when it's over?" I turn to look at him.
