But after his recent break up with his girlfriend Martha Manning, Laurens learns his father will be visiting him and expects Laurens to be with Martha, possibly even engaged to her. So, panicked, Laurens asks Hamilton to be his fake girlfriend because Hamilton looked "feminine" enough. (I know that Laurens is the one that's 3 years older, but John sounds cute as a shy kid. I also know this is probably crappy, and ive changed some details, such as Lafayette being three years older than Laurens instead of three years younger, and ive made relations between characters that aren't real.
