Twenty Candles (Part of the Tx3U Trilogy)
We've been friends since grade school. Best friends at that. Never did anything without each other. We can't imagine being separated. Well, actually, we can. Ever since high school finished, we've been going our own ways, but we did make a pact. To meet up again for the two weeks that include our twentieth birthdays. So, it's just like a small family reunion. We'll celebrate like the world's about to end for fourteen days. With twenty candles. HELP!!! Imagine I'm your best friend in the world, and I need your help. This guy who was a friend started doing stuff and saying stuff and giving mixed signals. I like him, love him even, but I have no clue whether he does. "So, let me get this straight," I looked at him weirdly, raising my hands slightly in exclamation. "You like me?!" I asked him in disbelief. "Like or like-like?" I really can't get my head to process his words at the moment. "Is it weird that I don't." He simply replied, his voice sounded calm but serious at the same time. "And for your question, I do.
