This is after the giant war ( with Gaea) and they are at camp for the summer. Percy and Annabeth are a wreck with their flash backs and nightmares of Tartarus. Jason can't decide whether to stay at camp half blood or go back to camp Jupiter. Leo makes a huge discovery! Frank and Hazel are nervous because Jupiter (Zeus) has chosen them to go on a 'special' quest. And lastly (but not least) Piper finds out her dad is going to get remarried and move to Ohio. With all this happening will there relationships stay the same, or more importantly their friendships?

It's been just over a year since the end of the Giant War. Percy and Annabeth have completed high school and are preparing to move to New Rome to continue their lives. Jason and Piper are still going strong, even though Jason has been moving between the camps constantly. Frank and Hazel are still in the legion at Camp Jupiter, but Reyna is planning to give them permission to move into the mortal world to go to high school. Leo returned with Calypso just after the Giant War ended. They've been living at Camp the whole year. But the gods still have more twists and turns planned for the demigods. When the girls discover a major secret which could change the face of the demigod world, soon it's up to the Seven (and Calypso) to prepare for another great prophecy which will turn the tides of their lives. The Life After Tartarus
If you haven't read House of Hades yet this will be a little confusing and will contain spoilers. Percy and Annabeth had gotten out of Tartarus and are now continuing their quest to Mt.Olympus. The original one in Greece. But everything isn't back to normal yet. Percy and Annabeth are still recovering from their journey in Tartarus causing them to grow distant which leads to even more ways for Gaea to play with. Leo is still struggling on finding Calypso and is sure that he will never find him. Nico is also confused about his relationship with Percy and what he will do. Nico Reyna and Coach Hedge continue their journey back to Camp Half blood. Together these two groups of half bloods will bring peace to the ongoing feud between the Roman and Greek demigods and decide whether they will continue living in their home planet or if it will be conquered by evil, ending their lives forever. Note that I don't own the Heroes of Olympus series. This goes to Rick Riordan. heck if I was writing the series it wouldn't be nearly as good As Uncle Rick's though I would've probably put a lot less teasing and torture :).
